I am damn, drat, and phooey today for about a hundred different reasons, but I'm picking up my shield and magic bracelets and tiara and getting on with it. The hundred things are just too stupid to mention, but suffice it to say I need to gird my loins and get back on track.
In the meantime...happy progress on my latest project:
Happy Wednesday Futzingday to one and all! Come tell me all about life in your corner ofthe world!
The blue heart is delightful.
ReplyDeleteAs for yhe otber things mentioned you will conquer them in no time at all. Stitch on!!!
Love your new project! Will you finish it in a heart shape?
ReplyDeleteLove the leggings!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Freudian typo? "hundred things ate just too"
Today I dealt with the tangled mountain of sheets left from our move 4 years ago. We had stuffed them out of sight in a closet once we found a set for each bed. I kept forgetting about them. Today they were all folded, sorted; and organized. Progress.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from New Zealand. Several years ago I sold a large collection of green Wedgwood, in anticipation of living overseas. Yesterday I drove three hours to uplift a collection of over 60 pieces that I bought on Trademe (similar to Ebay)! Deja vu....
ReplyDeleteA room with a view for you. An almost fee nee!
ReplyDeleteToday I have put my back out. With all the tramping up and down with heavy things - that is fine. Sit on the edge of the sofa and it goes splat! I have had a narrowing disc since I was young, learnt to recognise the warning signs. Except I sat on the edge just before bed and woke up with ouchee. I forsee a lay down on the cold floor and I'll be fine - with ibuprofen assistance for a couple of days. But as you say, life goes on and things need to be done with or without being like Quasimodo!
Lots of sewing done, 4 big blocks to make and to even the quilt out, 14 half blocks (or is it 15?) so I can stash it away easily now when visitors come to stay.
Hope D-chair day is going well and you don't have too much of a hangover afterwards. xxx
Your Blue Heart piece is looking incredible, Coni! Thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteLove this! I'm sure Karma is why I didn't see this until 8/20 because I was definitely having a 'damn, drat, and phooey' kind of day. Thank you for putting words to my feelings and telling me to pick up my toys and get this goat rodeo turned around!
