TUESDAY

My plan for the day is quite simple, Dearies...pajamas, lots of hot damn good, something mindless on the TeeVee, and stitching.

Maybe a nap.

And light healthy food for sure.

I'm also going to park this here iPad in the bedroom and away from the Happy Chair, because I am spending entirely too much time scrolling through nonsense. No news...I know enough to stay away from it, but the Facebook has become too icky for me. I do like looking at pretty pictures of stitching, but I don't need all of the other stuff.

I hope your very own Tuesday is full of happy things, and that you'll come tell me all about it!

  1. Good for you, something we can all benefit from is getting off the digital input. Definitely tons of toxic crap on social media. I'm stitching or sewing each day, having some challenges too focusing, but if I do a daily plan it helps me. Also fresh air. Thanks Coni and you're in prayers.

  2. Coni, it sounds like a good plan for a Tuesday! The usual chores plus walking out in the sunshine, stitching and reading. Maybe some note writing!

  3. I haven't been on FB for a while now. Unfortunately friends keep sending FB things to my mobile - which is sometimes annoying as I have switched that function off - too invasive! Although we use Whatsapp a lot as we (especially moi) cannot get a mobile signal here anyway. It's a case of head's down, check on family often, and keep away from the news! Happy to hear from our elderly friend in Kiwiland - he's OK phew!
I'm a tad annoyed though - the tooth fairy didn't visit and take my tooth cap away. I'm now on her naughty list and will mention my doings to Santa! Well I couldn't get a dentist and they'd take the coin plus more! LOL
Enjoy the coffee - just had mine and heading back to the kitchen for another!
Here the shallots are in and another veggie bed prepped. Sugar snaps are shooting up - will have to plant them soon! Hubby stroked next door's cat voluntarily! I caught the evidence from indoors! Hah! Busted!

  4. good call on the news, Coni. I turned the tv off a couple weeks ago & try to go to sites on the internet like yours, happy, fun & informative. I only watch the task force update at night but just for the first few mins for the latest info then off that goes until I sit for the night to stitch & watch tv. Right now I'm stuck on The Ranch (with Sam Elliot) and love the show. It's a little vulgar with some foul language but parts are hysterically funny. Takes my mind totally off the world for a couple of hours. Stay safe and healthy. Now back to my mask sewing!!!!!

  6. Never have done FaceBook, and watching TV gives me the willies, except Forensic Files. During this period of no meetings, I'm enjoying sleeping 'til 10 most days. Our church service is online; I miss our friends, but I'm a houseplant. So blessed because our children and theirs so far are safe and being careful. The son even wrung a promise out of me NOT to go give blood, critical as the need is. Guess we're the children and he's the parent, hey? We now are officially in the category of being "looked after!" Funny feeling.

  7. Facebook isn't our friend, really. I do like Instagram because it's only things that *I* want to look at. I don't post much, but that's okay, because it's just eye candy for me anyway
