IN WHICH WE ACHIEVE BED COFFEE NIRVANA THANKS TO THE TARGET CLEARANCE AISLE ON THE INTERWEBS

If I could, I would buy all of you a Bed Coffee setup so that you could have your very own Saturday abed with damn good and the paper. This silly little ritual has single-handedly changed my life, Dearies!

It's cold, gloomy, and a bit rainy/snowy here in Hoosierville today, so I will he in the Happy Chair with stitching and coloring books and a magic blanket or two. My hangover is almost gone and that means I can look forward to the next little bit of feeling like a real human for a minute before donning shoes and socks and heading to Mass in the morning.

Happy Saturday! Do something nice for yourself today. I know I tend to overdo it in this department, but I have to confess...it feels wonderful!

  1. Happy rituals are good! And glad the hangover is easing off ready for a nice day.
Here was misty and murky (again - seems to be the norm lately with a few wind storms thrown in to shake it all up) and today we have wind and rain again. Hard to believe we had a couple of nice days - oh how we pay for it! But as our daughter is getting married this November I've found a quilt pattern which I started last night - Arkansas Crossroads - to me it looks like a lot of kisses with pretty coloured scrappy fabrics. And my sewing area is a complete mess! Took months to organise and tidy - and in just one day it looks like a tornado has been in there! Have a happy Sunday :D

  2. I am glad your Saturday morning coffee/bed ritual is working out for you, Coni! Your tray looks so elegant. Once the fog burned off yesterday, we had sunshine and were in the upper 50s. And as Kerry said, happy rituals are good!

  3. Coffee in bed sounds great. But, I would have to take all of that upstairs with a dog underfoot. I'll just continue to have mine on the couch,LOL!
