AS OF TODAY I AM NOW 100% CLEARED FOR TAKEOFF, DEARIES! MISS JANE FROM THE INDIANA UNIVERSITY TRANSPLANT UNIT CALLED MOMENTS AGO TO TELL ME THAT WE HAVE INSURANCE CLEARANCE FOR TRANSPLANT...THE VERY FINAL PIECE OF THE PUZZLE!

EVERY TEST, APPOINTMENT, POKE, PROD, AND POUND HAS BEEN ACCOUNTED FOR, APPROVED, AND DOTTED AND CROSSED.

NOW ALL I NEED IS A KIDNEY AND WE ARE GOOD. TO. GO.

ONWARD!!!

    Such wonderful news!!! ...and the little cartoon of Snoopy jumping for joy is what Stewie is doing for you up in doggie heaven. Celebrate with coloring and stitching and bingeing (<--sp?? ....if I leave the "e" out it reads like binging, rhyming with singing).

    Anyway, do all the things that make you happy, and congrats on the wonderful news!!

    Excellent news - I couldn't be happier. Now you play the waiting game, and I'm holding every available thumb and big toe that it won't be very long at all. Yippee!
    And another yippee and a huge thank-you: I have finished The Starless Sea, acting on your recommendation - I hadn't heard of the author or either of her books - and was really very impressed and happy about that too. She writes so well! So well that I couldn't read slowly, but somehow I think I'll revisit the Sea in the next few months. It, and you, have enriched my life. And now I'm hoping for the best of news about yours. Keep us posted!
