I think there should be some kind of point system that you can redeem for prizes for all of the times you watch football instead of the Bravo.
For example..."You've earned 25 points for watching the Bears/Packers game instead of Below Deck, SpinsterStitcher! Redeem now at needlework/craft store near you or a webshop online."
or you can have another treat or stay up late without paying for it later!

ReplyDeleteLOL! I really don't like the world cup football (soccer) because it lasts so long. Once a long time ago, someone sabotaged the TV transformer so all the people with terrestrial TV couldn't see the world cup final. Well I heard all the cries of horror by mostly men in our road - I was in the garden - and then the quietest houses were the ones with satellite dishes. It was early days of Sky TV! I did wonder if the saboteur was a woman!

I personally feel I should be heavily compensated for baseball season, but I feel there is a special place in Heaven for all wives who are subjected to Nascar, especially when husband has the remote and is falling asleep on the couch. The bright side is...sometimes he is fast forwarding through the taped race, but falls asleep so the blasted race is over in about 2 minutes!
