FINALLY SETTLED DOWN...

It took me all day...futzing and futzing about completely out of sorts. I don't know if there's a full moon, or if Mercury is in retrograde, or if there's weather coming in or what, but I have been all over the darn place today.

After dinner I decided to settle in for some Notre Dame football watching, and I reached down in the pile 'o projects and selected a new start for this, the very first day of September:

This is The Autumn Garden by The Drawn Thread, and I'm stitching this on a piece of 32ct Maritime white linen with all of the called-for threads. This has been in my stash for quite some time, but I never had the opportunity to start it....until now.

OK, Dearies. I'm going to go get moving on this piece and watch the Irish do their thing.  Cheers!

  2. That looks like a particularly sweet project to stitch.

  3. The next time Mercury is in Retrograde will be November 17 to December 6. After this last spell I am paying attention. Everything I touched broke, things went wrong, weird things. I am glad it is after the mid-term election, I am worried about my candidate. Those Drawn Thread patterns are so much prettier than the picture shows. I will love seeing your progress on this.
