A LITTLE PRE JIFFY LUBE UPDATE

So today I'm trying something new.  I got up a little earlier, took my scrubby shower, and now I'm in the Happy Chair with my damn good and stitching for an hour or so before heading out.  Hopefully it will result in a more peaceful and less traumatic session.

Progress continues on Prairie Schooler January.  I'm not sure about the two tone house, but I'm going to pretend that the sun is casting a winter shadow

Happy Friday, kids!  Come tel me...blah blah blah.

  2. The Forest Snowfall is lovely, but I am so happy to see the Red Velvet Cake back on the stitch list. 'Bout time...lol.
Here's hoping the Jiffy Lube visit today is smooth as silk, with all the players behaving themselves, including you.
My skirt is still in Marilyn Monroe territory over the Royal School of Needlework classes this summer.
Did something fun yesterday...remember when you might get a treat if you were a good girl at the dentist's office and didn't have any cavities? So after our check ups yesterday we went out for a lovely late luncheon at my fav girlie type of place, and included adult beverages in the outing. I discovered the Pomegranate Margarita but kept it to just one.
And now my Prince Charming informs me that my spiralizing Ninjo has just arrived, so I must go check this baby out. Then on to mundane things so that Prince Charming has what he needs to pack for his week of business travel. (I am happily staying home this time with my kitty and needlework.)
    Prayers continue.....

  5. Love the books background, but SO glad Stewey is still there. I still look at his cuteness. Love the framing on your last piece, and I think the 2 tone works great on the PS house. Hope today went well.

  7. Good morning, Coni! You will note the time and date. I, too, am trying something new: getting up earlier on the weekend. I usually sleep until 9 or even 10 am on the weekend. By the time I'm done getting ready to leave the house, it's getting on to 1 pm and then errands might take a few hours. The day is then over! No time for quilting! So here I am: showered, breakfasted, teeth brushed - all done by 7:15! Still tired though. I think I need a nap! 😉
