MEMORIES OF OCTOBERS PAST

I awoke feeling very nostalgic for all things lost today...my Little, the way the light used to come into CS1, autumnal decorations, and that feeling that Fall was finally here.

So I decided to take a little trip back in time...here are a few shots from Octobers past:

As soon as the chores are complete and the paperwork and bills have been dealt with, methinks I might close my eyes for a snoozy nap and pretend it's 2009 again.

Here's hoping that your very own Futzingday is lovely and peaceful and full of memories that make you happy!

  1. Just remember that these are happy memories that you will always have and not something that is lost.

  4. Such wonderful photos/memories Coni! I had to say goodbye to my sweet Reggie over 2 years ago and I miss him everyday. It's so strange...he's been in my dreams twice this past week and I haven't dreamed about him in months. One was just as I was waking up and I woke up sobbing :( I try to think of the quote by A. A. Milne: "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." Great quote but so hard to feel lucky when someone you loved so much is gone (human or fur baby)

  9. Lovely memories and beautiful pictures. It is hard to miss people (furry ones too) and places, but hopefully you will grow to love CS2 just as much. Hope you had a lovely day...xo

  10. I rarely respond to blogs, but your post touched my heart and I knew I had to respond. With a heavy heart I remembering reading your blog and it brings back many happy memories. I too lost a pet that was my soul mate, Edgar. A snotty black cat that captured my heart at 3 weeks old as one of three feral strays that I called the Black Trio. You are always in my thoughts and prayers for your transition. You are so creative in your decorating, I am sure CS2 will bring you new memories as well and I am excited to follow along as always <3
