When my first husband and I got married we lived in a mobile home. One night while we were gone there was an fire and the fire department wanted to know if we had been looted! HAHA Good thing I've grown out of that stage with husband #2. Not saying I would eat off my floors but at least now you can see the floor.
It always amazes me the time it takes to clear the decks and you turn around and in no time some stranger has entered and piled the surfaces with more to be cleared.... the losing battle....LOL
I’m throwing my hat in the circle..... 2 dogs & 4 grandkids ( Grammie day care here). It’s never ending...dust bunnies, shedding dogs, matchbox cars & a million legos. That’s all more important than having the sterile house. That will come in time but now is time for making memories & having fun! 😄
It seems I am odd woman out because I can't stitch or do anything fun unless my house is spotless. I have problems when it comes anything being out of place, it borders on crazy train.
I like things neat -- everything in its place -- but am not going to vacuum and dust every day. With 2 dogs and 2 cats, I certainly could vacuum daily. Pet fur -- a condiment and a fashion statement!

ReplyDeleteHmmm, do I dare admit that sort of is me? Have a good day, Coni!
ReplyDeleteAmen!
ReplyDeleteLOL!! Thank you for my smile of the day Coni! xo
ReplyDeleteSigh... that is me. Wish it weren't, but it is. Love, hugs & prayers, Cathryn ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteI think we have a quorum. I too belong to the looted group. Life is good. Enjoy!!%
ReplyDeleteCan I join the group too? The dog and 5 cats don't help any. Life is too short to spend cleaning:)
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling. You try to it neat and tidy and lo and behold LIFE gets in the way.
ReplyDeleteI have lots of struggles with the dust bunnies, and they win!
ReplyDeleteI think stitching, friends, and pets are more important than dust bunnies... unless they are pets. Who is in??
ReplyDeleteabsolutely!!

Haha, this is me! But I'm happy.
ReplyDeleteWe have four cats. No amount of brushing gets rid of the cat hair. But they make us happier than a pristine house!
