The bed is made, the kitchen tidied, couch cushions fluffed, chili is in the crockpot, and I am showered and semi-dressed for the day's festivities. Rich had his workout at the gym here at the apartment complex and will settle in for the football. I'm going to read the papers and get stitching.
Saturday Spinster bliss...indeed.
Sounds like a fabulous Saturday to me!

Here's a little Saturday funny...I have been slowly, but surely cleaning out storage boxes from a move (two years ago...don't judge). Today I opened up the Holy Grail of WIPs. I found one that I mail ordered in 1984. Apparently this box has survived numerous moves without ever being unpacked. It's hideous. No wonder I never finished it.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your stitching and footballing...by the way...I'm a Miami University alum. ;o)
Hi, Phyllis! One of my favorite people is also a Miami alum...Coach Ara! π Now I have TWO Miami favorites!
DeleteNotre Dame game is on. I started crying when they were reading from the Declaration of Independence and showing parts of Notre Dame including the golden dome and Touchdown Jesus.
ReplyDeleteGO IRISH!
It sounds lovely, except for the sports...I would be watching Magnum PI!! Have a lovely pain free weekend Coni!! xo
ReplyDeleteNow that you have set all the magic ingredients for a blissful weekend in place, give it a stir and enjoy the
