HOLY SCOTCH TAPE MISTAKE BATMAN!

Thanks to the eagle eye of Miss Lori, all of this will be coming out tomorrow:
See the mistake?

When I made a copy of the chart I didn't eliminate the overlap.

Damn.

Drat.

Phooey.

But...how freaking cool is it that a fellow stitcher was willing to help me save myself from disaster?

Thank you again, dear Miss Lori!

  1. You make me feel better. I have a mistake in a piece I'm doing which should have stuck its ugly little head out immediately. I think I can fix it with a little "scotch tape."

  2. And that is what our little community of stitchers is all about! This piece is going to look spectacular on that fabric - great choice! Happy Tuesday.

  3. Drat, now that you mention it, I do see it. But you don't have to take all of it out, just the offending half of it. Freaking frogging.
Hope your day is perfectly wonderful otherwise.

    Prayers continue....

  4. Coni, you are so fast! Do you stitch two-handed?? What do you do with all your finished pieces? I've never seen them on the walls.

    1. Christine, I always say Coni is prolific, too, and she always denies it. But she is a fast stitcher, no doubt. She has told us before that most of her work is unframed; it's the process that she loves.

    2. Evelyn, thanks! I figured the answers were somewhere already, that surely I wasn't the only one in awe of her speed!

  6. Holy moley Miss Lori, what a save. My untrained eye still can't see it...like those old 3-d hidden image posters? Never could make those out either.

  7. How lucky that it was caught so early! Do you think Lori you could come follow my blog to catch my mistakes? :)
