ROYAL GARDEN FEE NEE

Royal Garden (*)
DebBee's Designs
18ct. mono canvas in lilac
Threads: Caron Watercolours in Black Iris, Splendor S808, Silk Lame' Braid SL59, DMC #8 perle cotton 333, DMC floss 469  471  472  550  746  3743

There were several stitches in this piece that I thought were particularly lovely, fun, and interesting:

Center: double fan doubled, surrounded by stacked crescents, surrounded by waffles.

Top: Walneto; Middle: Crescents with tails (with a woven/basket center); Bottom: Amadeus (purple) with woven diamonds surrounding (light yellow).

Chilly Hollow stitch.

Dark purple and Watercolours : Sword Amadeus stitch.

Another look at those crescents with tails with the woven centers.  (I think this is my favorite element).

If you have the opportunity to try this one, I highly recommend it.  It was a joy from the first stitch to the last, I learned a LOT, and I think it will go onto my list of all-time favorites!
