WEEKEND PROGRESS

Good Sunday Evening, Dearies!

It was a lovely, quiet, rainy, productive weekend here in Hoosierville. I was able to get a few things done around here and spent a few wonderful hours tonight stitching.

My JB turned 70 today without any fanfare, but he said he appreciated the peace and quiet, and the Eagles winning this afternoon was exactly what he wanted. I would have liked to whisk him away for a golfing/horse racing vacation, but alas, we'll have to do it at another time. (He is a horse racing enthusiast and has always wanted to go to Keeneland (in Kentucky), so I might try to organize a trip for us in the Spring. As for the golfing, he likes Donald Ross designed courses, so a trip to French Lick, Indiana might also be necessary.)

As for me, tomorrow will be my treadmill stress test, so hopefully results will send us in a good treatment direction, and I can get back to my Operation Go level of dieting and exercise. Remember that?

I hope the week ahead is exactly what you need it to be!  What's new in your corner of the world? Come tell me all about it!

  1. I'll be very jealous if you and JB get to go to Keeneland! I love horse racing. Got to go to Saratoga in August, and it's one of my favorite vacation memories.
