IT'S A GOOD THING I CAN'T FIND STEWEY'S OLD CHECKBOOK

This estate is currently for sale. It's an historic home in LIGONIER, INDIANA....the birthplace of the late Mr Stewey Angus Willowswamp and his little cousin, the late Mr Bosco Oliver Willowswamp. Despite their more humble lodgings at birth, I suspect both boys would be proud to own such an impressive piece of local renown.

(I can only imagine the arguments over the exterior paint color, as well as the insistence (on Bosco's part) to convert the sunporch into a bouncy castle.)

Time for a Sunday nap, a big a$$ cold brew and The Count of Monte Christo.

Cheers!

  2. I've already painted it purple with grey trim; screened in the porch, & set up my library in the upstairs tower room in my mind!

  3. I imagine lots of tiny closed off rooms only big enough for twin sized beds. The downstairs probably has no bathroom so anytime you need to pee, you have to take yourself upstairs. Then there is all the cleaning...I had a big house once. I was so glad to downsize! I see big houses now and just think of the cleaning! Even the porches need cleaning. Just the amount of sweeping would wear me out. These houses are so great to look at and dream about but I so love my smaller house!

  7. I love the fancy turret, and the color! It looks like so far, except or the kitchen and a couple of bathrooms, it's kept the gorgeous original woodwork. What a pretty house!

    1. PS - I had to search for "pink house for sale ligonier indiana" to find interior photos. For some reason, it doesn't show up without adding "pink"
