I'm sorry for my absence lately, Dearies, but the level of out of whack-ness here at CS2 has reached levels heretofore not seen before. I'm fine and JB is fine...we are both happy, healthy, and managing not to get ourselves into too much mischief...but Yours Truly is just schlumping around like a schlumpadink on schlumpy steroids.

I can't seem to get out of my own way.

I'm reading and cooking and cleaning and journaling and doing the things that need doing, but I haven't picked up my needle in weeks, it seems, nor have I played with any diamond painting or coloring...or anything, really.

So if you'll bear with me for a minute, I'll get my act together and will come back with a big cup of fresh damn good and more tales to tell.

In the meantime, what's new with you?

  1. I always miss you when you are absent. I hope your needle fingers and diamond painting hands return soon. Other than that, sounds like you are taking care of business!

  2. Go with your flow, if you don’t feel like stitching, that's perfectly OK. Sometimes we need a break and a recharge.

  3. I certainly go through phases like that. Other things that demand my time and attention, and I'm content with that. And then I start dreaming of what stitches are appropriate in some project and I know it's time to get back to it. I'd be perfectly happy with updates on your activities that aren't always stitching etc. I'm here for YOU not just your needlework!

  4. I'm here for it all and not just the stitching. Glad to hear you are fine and are in a reading mode along with other things mode. Thinking of you, Coni! Happy Friday!

  5. I look forward to your updates and humor. It's not just about our crafts. Three weeks of sinus infection slowed me down a lot. Still hot here in northern VA but fall is coming.

  6. When I feel guilty looking at all my half finished pieces, yet I’d rather read, or watch Netflix, or go on vacation, I remind myself “it’s a hobby, not a job.” It’s supposed to be fun. So if you have lost interest for a while, don’t stress.

  7. The artistic flow will become fun and stimulating again before you know it... in the meantime, you certainly have not lost your "make
time count" demeanor. Happy to hear life for you both is moving
    along well.
