These look easier to find and less dangerous than when I drop the needle while stitching. Maybe a terry cloth towel on the lap would make gathering them up easier? And I'm pretty sure by now everyone knows the nylon stocking or thin sock (who has nylons these days?!) over the vacuum hose to pick up errant beads without trashing them.
