Rich is getting a new hip tomorrow, so I will be hither and yon for a few days, Dearies. Much to my complete surprise, it is an outpatient procedure and will not require any physical therapy, so keep the happy thought that I can manage his care without sedatives, a large rubber mallet, or law enforcement getting involved.
If you see the bat signal in the skies over Hoosierville, please send Tylenol and a vat of cold brew.
That is the way to go…..had my hip replaced with the procedure five years ago with minimal problems except living alone . Best wishes for speedy recovery for both of you! A large mallet also is recommended especially when dealing with the males of the species….just in case
