Enjoy the process! Sure, it's nice to step back and admire the final product, but the doing is also fun.
A young man I know is currently having a wound vac treatment. Having followed your adventures for a while, I understand so much more about what he is presently enduring. Thank you for sharing your journey with us, both the glitterified, rainbow tinted, and unicorn sprinkled version you frequently present and the glimpses of grim reality.
You are ahead of me! I have lights on the tree (it's a very little one) but nothing else. Your tree is lovely just as it is --- I love the way you decorate! Just take your time and enjoy!
I love the top hat at the top of the tree. One year I broke the ornament that was supposed to go on the top of the tree so I safety-pinned the feet of a stuffed reindeer together and stuck it on top of the tree. And used it several years after that.
Your tree looks good, Coni. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteLooks perfect. I'm done decorating. Now I can stitch too.
