It's beautiful! I think today is the day for being in a lousy mood --- I have been all day long. Yuck! Tomorrow will be better! (It pretty much has to be.)
Your living room looks great! I love all the pretty pillows on your couch! I'm sorry you're having a difficult time and feeling out-of-sorts, but you have a lot to deal with (plus the yucky weather doesn't help!) I hope you have a relaxing evening and a better day tomorrow! Take care. Mary
Thank you for the reminder -- my mom was addicted to rearranging the living room. One week, the piano would be against the south wall, the next week, against the north wall. Even though we also had a rec room and a den, it was always the living room she rearranged!
CS2 is so pretty. I always love pics of it. Looks like you’re doing a good job of keeping your plants alive. I’m curious as to how the fern ended up. Take care of yourself and just ride out the storm. You handle all you’re dealing with so well!
The fern went to the great beyond some time ago. I have absolutely no idea what caused it's demise, but I'm suspecting it had something to do with Miracle Grow. I dumped a bunch of it in the planter and think that's what killed it.
Never fear...I picked up two more at the Lowe's and they are hanging outside happily until the Fall when we'll try it again!
I let out a little laugh, Coni, when I saw the photo of your Archie and Edith chairs! Just perfect, except maybe you need a little ND rally towel on yours!
I would love to see pictures of all your needlework. Trying to learn needlepoint. I’m a cross stitcher. Love that. Not so sure about the needlepoint. But boy do I love the look of it. You always make a lovely home don’t you? Been reading your blog off and on for many years. Hope you get Happy really soon. Don’t know why those crazy funks hit us like that. And you have one of the best shops there for needlework supplies.
I like it! And I’m in a bad mood today too, maybe it’ll in the air! 😉

Good luck with them! I have a fairly green thumb, but there’s something about ferns I just can’t figure out. :(

ReplyDeleteLOL! Well it looks good anyway. Here, if I rearrange, it isn't long before it ends back where it all started!
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just have to give in to your mood. If you feel surly, then feel surly. It's okay. It'll pass, but until then just feel the way you feel.
ReplyDeleteLooks great!
ReplyDeleteOh, sweetie. Much empathy. 🥰
