HAPPY HALF-ASSED CHRISTMAS, CHARLIE BROWN




Remember how it used to take me a week and a half to decorate Chez Spinster for Christmas? This year...about seven minutes. If the outside light strings had worked, it would have taken eight minutes.

Thank God Stewey isn't here to comment. I can only imagine his disappointment.

But this is what it is this year, and I am perfectly happy with it.

New light strings will be here tomorrow. I'll put them up on Wednesday when I return!

    Some times less is more :) I set up my nativity scene today and am hoping next weekend will be tree day.

    Sometimes a change of pace in decorating habits is good. The last few years I've toned my holiday decorating down to almost nothing, just too much work hauling stuff out of the attic. And then trying to get it all packed up and back up there. I like your tree setup.

    And way to go on the weight!

    Coni at least your Halloween decorations aren’t still up, with a Christmas table set for Thanksgiving! Talk about confused!
