FUTZINGDAY

 Hi, Dearies.

I'm using this post as a page marker for myself, because I want to remember to come back and tell you a funny story.

In the meantime, I might be away a few days because...in the words of NY152/Joe Fox...I have a little project that needs tweaking.

Talk amongst yourselves, please, and come tell me all about it!

  2. Here's my funny story for today. I stopped at A&W for root beer and sweet potato fries. Returning to the car, I saw my left front tire was quite flat. Got in, spilled root beer on my light grey shirt, called the auto club, and an ambulance pulled in!

Okay, they were there for lunch.

Auto club comes, shows me a slash in the tire, and filled it so I could go to the tire store diagonally across the street. Tire guy says the tire must be replaced, plus the passenger side back tire has a suspicious bulge. I ended up spending a couple of hours in the waiting room to get 4 winter tires for $400.

On my birthday. On the way to buy a wheat-free cupcake to celebrate.

  3. Susan, I don't know if I should laugh or cry! My day of a huge laundry pales in comparison!
Hope you have a better day tomorrow!

  4. Here's hoping Susan's birthday got better after that!

    F.O.X - Coni's got mail!!!

Here barn progresses. I let the ducks out a few times a day to free range - they head for the quagmire that the tyre tracks have made. Nearly lost my boot twice in the mud trying to round them up like a sheepdog. They outwit me while I'm stuck and splatter feet up the tracks. Meanwhile the sky has opened adding pools to the mud. Eventually one pulls a worm and runs of with his treasure with an entourage of quacks and flappers trying to steal his prize. Back on grass (squelchy) and they go back in while I struggle out of the mud to lock them in quick. I'm sending HRH out to have a go next time!
Hope you have a lovely day with your tweaking!
