I guess I stitched more that I realized this weekend, Dearies! Now, the decision to be made is whether or not I add the light blue squiggles in the background. There is a part of me that thinks it might be too much, but the other part of me thinks that the squiggles might be what I liked best about this design in the first place.
I also played with my planner yesterday, which was a nice change of pace from scribbling appointments on scraps of paper and forgetting about them. As you can see...a very quiet week ahead for Yours Truly, so I am hoping for peace and quiet to prevail.

I got up [not so] bright and early [for me] and registered for a free ticket to see Kathy Reichs at the library in a couple of weeks! If you were nearby, I'd get you and JB tickets, but I don't think it's worth the commute to Toronto. Although my condominium has a guest suite . . .

ReplyDeleteI guess I'm in the minority here, but I think the squiggles take away from the beautiful colors and flowers. I find them distracting.If you love them stitch them! Its supposed to be fun!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd finish the border around it and then make a decision. I'm kind of on the maybe not page, but looks great either way. Hope you are feeling better, all the crap going around makes everyone want to hibernate.

ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Maybe if you are unsure of the squiggles, perhaps a paler colour so that they are still visible but they would fill in the blank spaces to complete - a bit like quilting in the gaps!
