TUESDAY

What do you think, Dearies?  There are squiggles charted for above the letters on top, but I think those are the ones that were too busy. I do like the squiggles below, but am not sure if this somehow looks unbalanced?

Either way....there are big WOOHOOs coming from Hoosierville tonight!

  1. I think it needs the additional squiggles.

  2. I like it exactly as you stitched it. The squiggles are fun!

  3. I like how you did it. I see why you think it needs something on top. The bottom alphabet creates a border and there is a natural tendency to want the top and bottom to be mirrored. But I like it just as it is. = }

  4. I agree, the top squiggles should be added, it looks unfinished as it is - sorry.

  5. I agree with the border bit - squiggle all over! LOL xx

  6. Yes, it looks unbalanced, but I think it looks unbalanced because the alphabet below the flowers has a line delineating it from the flowers. The saying at the top doesn't. Unfortunately, the way the words intertwine with the flowers means it would be impossible to add a delineator at the top. I would just leave it with the squiggles as they are.

  7. I think it needs the squiggles, but the darker bits are too much blended with the letters on the pattern photo to my eye. Is it possible to shift the colors to use lighter colors only? Or keep the darker parts away from the letters?

  9. I think it needs squiggles up top, but maybe not all the squiggles. What about a squiggle centered between the words?

  10. I like it the way the way you have currently stitched it.

  11. What if you added the squiggles, but in an even lighter color? I agree that it looks unfinished, & I also think a border like on the bottom would have balanced it.

  12. Love it! I think it makes the words stand out better without the squiggles on top.

  13. I think the word stand out better without the squiggles. I would suggest taking out the one squiggle to the right and the left of the words, then the words would be framed on 3 sides by blank space. (Or maybe just the top half of the squiggle)

  14. It looks perfect as is. The design doesn't have squiggles around the alphabet on the bottom, right? So the space on top without the squiggles mirrors the bottom. It's beautiful!
