MONDAY

I made good progress on HT over the weekend, Dearies! I decided to work the black background as I go rather than save it until the end, and am glad I did so. I think it really makes the colors pop, don't you? Such a pretty design, and I'm loving every minute of it!

Short and sweet today. We're having our first measurable snow, and I need to leave a little early for the d-chair.  Hope I can find my brush/ice scraper thingie!

    I try to keep a scraper in the house.b As the one I keep in the car usually ends up in the trunk during nice weather So, whe the first snow it hits it usually is still there! Stitching is looking great! When you posted about getting everything at once it made me realize I have never done that! Always acquired it a little at a time. That must be a wonderful feeling to know you have everything right there for when you have time to start.

    I think your decision to work the background as you go is a really good one. Doing all the black at the end seems like it would be a bit daunting. Well, at least that's the way is seems to me. I'm always amazed at how quickly you stitch. Love the project.
