THURSDAY SPINSTER BLISS

After a busy morning of bookkeeping, I went to the fancypants salon and had my nails done...a real treat, indeed! On Tuesday night I had about six inches cut from my hair, and last night I had my brows cleaned up, so it just seemed right to spend a third day in a row getting pampered.

Moonstruck is on the TV, the paper is ready to be read, and I am going to try my level best to get some stitchy time before bed.

What's new with you, Dearies?

  1. I just love Moonstruck. After all of your pampering Coni, do you think you'll find yourself at the opera like Loretta? ;)

  2. Nothing like a few days of grooming to make one feel runway-
ready. Moonstruck - gets better with each viewing... Cher in great form... May your comfort zone continue through Friday, Connie dear.

  3. Nothing like a bit of pampering. Which reminds me I need my hair sorted! It's like Dr Emmett Brown only longer - hence one big plait! Haven't seen Moonstruck for years - I have the place to myself for a fortnight - I think an evening session with Cher and some mindless treadling is on the cards. So kickstarting me with dieting and motivating - what have you done to me! LOL! Have a good day. :D

  4. Hope you had a marvelous day, Coni! Pampering oneself in any way, shape or form is good for one's health!

  5. My daughter lives in Brooklyn, and when I visited her several years ago we used Moonstruck (one of my favorite movies) as a theme. We saw the building used as Ronnie Cammareri's bakery, the Casorinis' home, and took the train to the Bronx to eat dinner at an Italian restaurant on Arthur Avenue. During another trip to NYC, we attended a Philharmonic concert at Lincoln Center So much fun!
