MONDAY...MONDAY

The snow is coming down and I'm getting ready to head out into it to the d-chair. But before I go, here are some progress pics of the beading adventure on Red Velvet Cake:

Happy Monday, Dearies!

  1. Oh look at that! So sweet! Enjoy the snow... a few flakes here in London and everything grinds to a halt, 'Snow day' is declared and not much else gets done.

  6. I did not realize the bead work was so extensive, but what a
difference it makes in this beautiful piece..those triangular
segments really pop out. Hope your day goes well and that you
    have safe travel.

  10. I agree with other comments about the huge impact that the beads are having on this project. I, too, had not understood how much beading there was. It must take an age! What are you going to do with this spectacular piece once it's finished?

  12. Beautiful!!!
Coni, if you have time to answer a question? Where do you buy your ground cloth supplies. Taking my crossstitch up again after many years and there are no longer any local stores here (in CT) that sell linen or Aida.
