THIS. IS. SINFUL.

I'm watching the Notre Dame girls lose to Connecticut, and decided to pull out my "I'll put it away later" basket of threads.

Word of advice...

Just don't do it if you expect not to completely foul a Sunday afternoon mood.

  1. Maybe the Trebizond you need is in that big pile. Just kidding. Wish I was near you. I like sorting threads and putting them away. Weird I know.

  2. What exactly is sinful, Coni? Having a stash of threads? Having an unsorted pile of threads? Finding yourself in a bad mood while handling a pile of threads (I think that one is against the law, not sinful, so much!). Enjoy playing with your riches. No sins here in my eyes.

  4. Right there with you - I'm very bad about putting threads away when done with them!

  5. I have the same thing going on at my house. A basket full of mess!

  6. What a wonderful stash of threads! It looks a bit overwhelming, but I find it enjoyable to sort/organize them, it usually inspires me to start stitching too!

  7. If it makes you feel any better, my pile is way bigger than that! Maybe after the New Year I'll get to it!

  9. Whew....I'm so happy to know I'm not the only one with huge stashes of thread that needs sorting. Between my pile and your pile Coni, you're making me look good. Mine isn't as big as yours. I think I'll show YOUR PILE to my husband. It will really make me look good :-)

  10. Like you, I hadn't filed away leftovers into my organized stash for a while. Did it last night to test the full spectrum Verilux floor lamp I got as a Black Friday special. Of course, after putting it all away, I found 3 skeins on the floor -- oh, well, next time!
