Yep. The cooking is mostly fun though, right? Having a home-made cherry bourbon pie at the end of the meal made the hours of cooking entirely worth it!
Your feast looks wonderful! I was just commenting to my family about how long it takes to prepare (and clean up from) the feast vs. how long it takes to eat it. But, if you consider how long it takes to eat the leftovers...maybe not.
