I stitched! I stitched!
Yes, it amounted to about thirty stitches, but I finally managed to get that needle and thread back in hand and go for it. It was a lovely feeling to do so...kind of like meeting up with an old dear friend that you haven't seen in years.
Today is going to be another stitchy day, God willing. I'm working on my second cup of damn good now, and hope to spend a little time out on the balcony with a lemonade, some stitching, and the radio for company.
What's new with you, Dearies?
Sounds wonderful Coni! I am trying to get chores done so I can pick up needle and thread after a week or so of not stitching. It's too hot here in WV to sit outside though! Enjoy your day!!
ReplyDeleteA balcony or a shady patio are two of my favorite places. Enjoy!!! I will be there in spirit.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your stitching today, Coni! I'll be picking up my needle after dinner.
ReplyDeleteAnd what beautiful stitching it is too :) So happy for you! I plan on picking mine up once I get home from work and have some dinner!
ReplyDeleteJust had thumb joint replacement and will be unable to stitch for several weeks at least. I did a lot in May though, and know I will be SO ready to get back into it this fall. I know what you mean about it being a constant dear friend. Glad you were able to have a visit.
ReplyDeleteSounds lovely! Hope you did just that :)
ReplyDeleteI couldn`t resist after seeing how beautiful yours is. So have a PDF coming. Will use a different linen as Lemonade out of stock. May dye some!! Happy Stitching.
