  2. Wonderful!
    We had chickens & ducks when the boys were young. During the summer the chickens would walk through the wading pool looking like someone's old aunty with her skirts pulled up to her knees, squawking at the little chicks & ducks to stay away.
    Thanks for the memories.

  5. I did a little research because this is one terrific looking bird. It's a Ruff
    (Calidris pugnax) and this one comes from Norway. They are part of the Sandpiper family. This just gave me one big belly laugh today. Thanks Coni. I take it the dialysis unplug went as well as the plug did yesterday? Sure hope so. Was thinking about you all day.

  11. Perfectly decked out in a dowagers cap, heirloom shawl and Granny's Winter cape. The legs are a bit chilled but we can't have any precious clothing dangling in the snow slush at this time of year.
