HOUSTON...WE HAVE A PLAN

Today is the first real "free" day I've had in quite a while. To celebrate, I am going to take myself to the beauty parlor for a mani/pedi and a bang trim, then a nice light lunch, and then I am going to come home and play with my stitchy stash. There might be a nice long snoozy nap, a cup of afternoon tea, and some book browsing too...but I'm pacing myself and not going to get too bogged down by details.

No stitching to report from last night, unfortunately. My chair session did not go as planned and we had  a fight with Buzzy and his ability to flow properly. I fear there might be a trip to the Access Center and more angioplasty in my future. Phooey.

So that's it for the day, Dearies. I hope that your very own Thursday is perfectly swell and that you get to do everything your heart desires!

  2. Been a busy week, so like you, I decided to make this a floating day. Looks like you have loaded yours, so after
lunch hope you will relax, doze and have a good read with tea or a stitch or two.... Build up your energy to
deal with capricious Buzzy. Have a relaxing evening....

  3. Wow, just...wow. not for today's post, but I'd somehow stopped following your blog in 2016 (I think I had laptop death), so I've just spent three days catching up. What a hell of a time you've been having. I cried so much when I read about stewey (I also have a very elderly jr, mine is 15 and waters the drapes about every half hour). I cried again when rich appeared in the picture, and just wanted to say that I think you are so inspiring. You've coped so well, with such good grace, and I truly hope you carry on being so wonderful. I also wanted to say so much a well done to all the big hearted people who've helped you, either financially or emotionally. Go Coni, I'm rooting for you.

  5. What is the status of the donor kidney from your sister or the Organ Donation List? I'm hoping events happen
sooner rather than later for you, my dear.

  7. Unfortunately, I get bogged down and only check in every few months it seems. When I do I am so stunned to see how much you have to deal with, and how graciously you handle it all. Just wanted to let you know that the way you handle all these challenges inspires me and gives me strength. You amaze me!
