SCENES FROM A CHAIR ON A FUTZINGDAY AFTERNOON...

I broke the first machine, so they switched me to a different chair with a better view:

And here's me...trying to look happy and brave before getting hooked up tp the new machine.
(I really need to rethink my hair...the Snooky bangs are getting a little old.)

OK...time to chill.  Here's hoping that your view is swell.  Come tell me all about it!

  1. You ARE brave!
Took a picture of my view but can’t figure out how to post it...

  2. My view:

I am looking out over a snowswept scene of glittering gold onion domes and serenity. Seagulls are soaring nearby. A simple farmer is trudging past with his ox cart full of magic. I wave politely from my palace window...

Ok, yeah, made all that up. I am looking at my socks. They are kind of dirty. I need to do the dishes. Great-nephew is napping in his pack n' play. Thirteen (almost!) year old son is asleep on the couch next to me, under afghans crocheted by an aunt last Christmas and my grandmother in 1979. I can not see snow, onion domes, or gold out my window, but the sun is shining!

  3. We have a lovely view. Out of the front windows we can see fields and then the Blue Ridge mountains and the Parkway across the tops of them. In the back, from our sitting room, we look out on a heavily wooded area. Often we see wildlife, including the 4-legged kind. What we don't have is a decent temperature; 19.5 at 7 a.m. this morning. And the cloud cover was too much for us to enjoy the moon display.

I am so glad you are strong enough to have broken a machine!!!

  5. Is that a happy and brave look or a naughty, "Ha Ha, look
what I did...now get me to the window scene..." In any
case, hope the rest of the day goes your way. Sunshine
and warmer temps here after too much dark and frigid...

  6. Coni, is it my imagination or have you lost yet more weight? I need to get my act together. Personally, I like your hair a whole lot, including the bangs.

  9. The hair is great. I am so NOT posting a photo of mine, off to the daughter in law on Saturday for cut and perm. And, you look kind of smug - broke a machine, huh? Getting even are we?
Seriously, hope the rest of the session goes smoothly and that "deer in the headlights" expression changes to one of calm relaxation as you continue the treatment for the afternoon.
    Prayers continue...

  11. And I meant to add how envious I am of your eyebrows. Mine look like I had an accident while trying to flambé something.
