  1. So much this but it can also be one of the most freeing things one can do. Let your hair do what it wants period.

Tangent starting - I recently changed my hair cut so that it worked with how my hair grows. Its much shorter but so much easier to deal with. Wash, blow dry, might add some gunk to make it dance but the hair decides what it may do with all of that. Sometimes I praise the mirror and say good job and other times its 'ok, thats what you decided on for today.' and just go with the flow.

Pick your battles. Starting one off for the day with hair? Not worth it.

With all that said - you keep battling on as you have been. I love reading your blog and the names you've made for your current accessories. Helps with dealing with the changes going on. You Got this!!

  3. To say that my hair has a mind of it's own is giving it waaayyyy too much credit.

On the other hand, we have hair.

  9. My 5 year old niece loves Harry Potter, and one of the local bookstores is having a "Harry Potter night." The other night she told my sister, "I want you to wear your Hermione hair to Harry Potter night on Thursday.” My sister said, "what?" Niece explains, "You know. Before you do anything to it.”
And that sums up our family hair situation pretty well. LOL
