WHO IS THIS PERSON?!?!
My friend has promised to supervise me adequately and to escort me home immediately forthwith should the phenomenon of being out in public prove too much for me. I, in return, have silently vowed to just breathe and not be...ME...for the next few hours and keep my nervous curcus monkey chattering to a minimum.
Pray for me, Dearies.
P.S. Do you think it would be awkward to take my stitching, Ott light, lap stand, and Happy Chair along?
Have fun! You might want to take a book . . .
ReplyDeleteAren't there already happy chairs and Ott lights also provided for the Needlework sport enthusiasts at said sports bar?
ReplyDeleteMight be a little awkward on the first date lol

Coni,
ReplyDeleteThis makes my heart happy for you. Enjoy the day !
You will be so caught up in the enthusiastic company, that
ReplyDeletethe enjoyment will suffice...We are knowing you will stay the course and return home to the happy chair with renewed
confidence and proof that you have always had what it takes. Laugh it up!!!
I take small needlepoint projects on 13 ct To sports bars. Simple designs with no shading that I can almost stitch in the dark. My hubby is very tolerant of this since I usually get so wrapped up in the game that I stop stitching.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time!!
Enjoy your lunch and company. Your stitching will be there waiting for you when you return home. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteJust relax and enjoy the game, the lunch and the company. Live in the moment and let everything else fall away. Have lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteLove the sneakers, Coni! Enjoy your outing and then enjoy the happy chair when you return.
ReplyDeleteYou go girl!š§šš
ReplyDeleteGo enjoy! Love the leggings and those sneakers. Looks like they have bits of sparkes on them.
ReplyDeleteCute shoes!

Give your gentleman caller your attention...stitching will be waiting for you! š
ReplyDeleteAnd details when you get back!!!!
Just be your charming, funny, bright self and leave the stitching at home. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteAhhh I hope it was great fun!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great time! (And know that you're not the only one who sometimes needs a quick escort out of certain public situations!).
ReplyDeleteThis really is a new Spinster! Choosing a sports bar over stitching? Or is it the person you are accompanying? You are definitely expanding your horizons. So glad for you. You go girl!
ReplyDeleteHello-I have been stitching for 30 years. I am very late learning the computer however. I love your blog but the most recent image is from 2013.Do you have a newer way to access? My e-mail is scarletstitcher@gmail.com. Thanks for any help.
ReplyDeleteHoping your Sunday was fantastic, and you not only enjoyed your outing and the company, but you found your happy chair and the carb project patiently waiting to offer you introvert recharge time this evening.
ReplyDeleteWe had perfect weather, a great brunch and even some time on the pier in the sun.
Fulfilling the retiree requirements on Monday morning: get up, get dressed, go to the doctor. Tomorrow afternoon off to No. 2 son to do the quarterly taxes for them. Then we take them out to dinner. Shouldn't they be taking us??
Soooo.....anytime you want to supply details about this gentleman who can pull you away from your stitching we are all ears. Deeply curious about any man who can catch your fancy.
Sweet dreams.
Prayers continue.....
You look pretty darn cute with your shoes and leggings. I hope you had a delightful lunch with the mystery man who sounds quite nice.
ReplyDeleteI'm hunkered down in central FL, where Irma has decided just this evening to visit. We are the only people I know who still have power. Winds and rain are crazy!, with the worst to come.
Love this post Coni! Enjoy!š
ReplyDeleteLove the shoes!! Hope you had fun!
ReplyDeleteThe stitching and Ott light, may be ok. The Happy Chair.....not so much. I mean....how to get it into the car?
