IN WHICH OUR HAPLESS HEROINE DECIDES TO STAY IN BED...

Felled by a burrito.

Yup.  After an unexpected early morning errand, I decided to treat myself to a Sonic breakfast burrito before returning to CS2.  It was positively delicious, and it made me wonder why I don't have them more often.

Now I remember.

Between a drop in hemoglobin, a radical change in the weather, end stage renal failure, and my idiot breakfast selection, I spent the majority of the day under the covers in the big girl sleigh bed.

I did, however, manage to get up and shower a few moments ago, and Rich (bless his heart) made a run to the Martin's for a Sprite.

Here's last night's progress on RVC:

If all goes well, I'm hoping for more this evening!

Here's hoping that things in your corner of the world are less..queasy...and that your needles are flying!  Do something fun and exciting and come tell me all about it.

  8. Oh Coni, so sorry your breakfast made you feel ill, it really stinks when your food selections become limited and you can`t eat your favorites....I hope you recover quickly. Take care xo

  9. Annoying isn't it, not to be able to carry on. I was felled by my puppy yesterday on our morning walk and hurt my hands among other parts of my body. I retired to bed with brandy, paracetamol and a cup of tea for a couple of hours. But as my Mr Wonderful is away, I have to walk dogs etc with two part functioning hands today, I can't have a shower because I want my fingers to stay dry and heal and I ache all over. Happy days!

  11. I hope you are feeling better today. I hate the "queasy sick". My southern remedy is ginger ale (over crushed ice) and saltines. Praying for a happy stitchy day!
