Paradise Lost 😕 School started back here in FL on Monday & the "lil darling's" get home @ 4pm so you may want to find out school hrs & plan accordingly. I know I'd be there from 10-3 LOL then hit the big girl bed for a nap Blessings Baa Who would bring her own float & join you any day.
Boy, I understand that one! It's the main reason I live in a 55+ community. The rug-rats aren't even allowed in the big people's pool. We have a little pool far removed from the big one that the kids must use. Ohh...and ours is heated really well all year around. Yummo. Ohh and another good thing is that I'm not the only manatee in the pool--I'm just one of many. We have a whole herd! ;-) Makes it much easier to blend in. hahaha
On the other hand, they may grow into handsome young men who in your dotage can escort you to the theatre or an evening on the town, Auntie Coni....cultivate, cultivate. That pool looks great...overlook the little ones...the pool is your domain.
This is why I only stay at places with an adult pool. Can't be helped in this situation, though. Memorize your local school calendar, including all scheduled holidays and plan accordingly! I live a block from a middle school-I've got that one down.
Sorry paradise was interrupted; perhaps they are getting in their last hurrah before school begins.

ReplyDeleteI'll sigh with you. Ahhh well.... such is life. Love, hugs & prayers, Cathryn ♥
ReplyDeleteDamn kids. Shouldn't they be in school or working ?
ReplyDeletegrrr.....they should neither be seen or heard. School cannot start soon enough, then back to peace and quiet poolside during the day.
ReplyDeleteOh well. They hopefully will be in school soon, then you can have more peace.

ReplyDeleteGreat start! Compensating may not be fun, but so worth it. Sounds like you have fun times ahead.

I find joy in the sound of children. Try it.
ReplyDeleteThey look like they could lug groceries up the stairs :))
ReplyDeleteHaha! And I like the Arana's idea of putting them to work!
ReplyDeleteMe again- of course after I sent my request I saw the dates where I can blog. So embarrassing. Cindy
