YUP...SATURDAY NIGHT WAS ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT!

Thanks for your lovely thoughts about my Stewey Little.  Yes, I am still moving his little box from room to room with me throughout the day.

Wouldn't this make a pretty stitchy design?

  3. Our Sherlock and Zoe are here in the living room where we spend most time....they gave a bookcase shelf just for them. Couldn't you chart that box top, it would make a great cross stitch.

  5. I think a black chalk rubbing would be fun to do. Maybe you could transfer the design onto linen?

  6. Well done, Coni. Great progress. I'm glad that you still have Stewey 'with you'. I know it would bring me some comfort. Keep your chin up AND the great stitching progress. Hugs & Prayers, Cathryn

  7. Coni, you have made fabulous progress on your Ink Circles piece. The lid of Stewey's box would make a lovely cross stitched piece. Thinking of you!

  8. Stewey's box top is beautiful. I'm certain you could find a way to stitch it. I'm glad you take him with you from room to room. Love never ends.

  10. I would love if you made that into a cross stitch chart. What about if you sell them and donate them to cause Stewey would have loved. I would buy one for sure! And you sure are flying through the stitching on this piece. It looks so pretty!

  11. Master Stewey's box is just like the one that our much-loved "Sweet Tea" is in. I look at that box 20 times a day and never once did I think of a cross stitch design. But now that your wonderful idea is out there, I can't stop seeing it as a lovely XS project. One little "extra" we did was to go to "things remembered" and had an engraved "label" made that says, "in loving memory of our little, forever friend, Sweet Tea" followed by little paw prints. You could XS the design and then put Stewey's name on it as a tribute to him. Dang, now you've got me thinking, and trust me, that's almost never a good thing..... ;)
