So I decided that this whole "I have to stitch winter-ish because it's Winter" thing is going to drive me right to the bottom of a super-sized pan of Rice Krispie Treats. Not one flake of snow has fallen in these here parts in quite some time, so I might as well get the whole notion of sitting in front of the fireplace and Dr. Zhivago out of my head.
I fished through my stash and kitted up a few new and not so new projects with a decidedly spring-y theme. Hopefully we'll see some progress on SOMETHING before the Stitchy Police come to take my needles away. (They can be real pills, can't they?)
Ah, see...you should've joined us for Jardin January. =) What a beautiful array of projects!!
ReplyDeleteI've not one snarky thing to say today! :) Beauties - each and every one!
ReplyDeleteDrawn Thread projects are good anytime of year. All those special stitches make them fun to stitch! Enjoy your new array of projects!
ReplyDeleteThose are some lovely choices, Coni! Can't wait to see their progress...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful choices. But, which one will you start with.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your progress.
I'm sure as soon as you convince yourself to stitch something Spring then Winter will return- just because that's how those things work! :)
ReplyDeleteReally great choices. Drawn Thread is perfect spring stitching.
ReplyDeleteWow, I love that Birds of a Feather design. It looks hard to count but it is so cool. Looking forward to seeing that one done and hung up in your perfectly pretty very very happy home! Great choice!
ReplyDeleteOh what a lovely assortment you have picked out.
ReplyDeleteOK, now I have to find a downlodable version of Dr. Zhivago. It really is a perfect movie for stitching so maybe I will stay in this weekend regardless of the weather here. CJ in OK ;-)
ReplyDeleteooooo very nice projects on the go ... love the drawn thread ones :) love mouse xxxxx
ReplyDeleteLove your project choices, esp the Drawn Thread pieces!! I can`t wait to see your progress...
ReplyDeleteKisses to Stewey and Bosco
Those are all very good choices. Don't worry winter is not over yet, I grew up in Indiana, it's a long way from spring.
ReplyDeleteGreat choices. Glad you just went with it and didn't "fight the feeling anymore" (Do I hear Air Supply??) Can't wait to see your progress, with progress being the key word. We have very little snow here in NE Iowa. It sure is a strange winter. But we have to get through March and state basketball tournament. We can always count on a big snowstorm then. Happy Stitching
ReplyDeleteLooks like you'll be busy for a while!
ReplyDeleteOooohhhh....Drawn Thread designs. I love them, too. Never got Sanctuary but drool over it every time I see it. Dare I break down and order it? I've been putting off making my own list of WIP's to work on this year. I think it's time... plus just checked out JardinJanuary, which looks like a lot of fun! PS..my verification word is "hiene". change a couple letters around and have a chuckle :-D
ReplyDeleteLovely - all look very inviting.
