I'm having the type of day that one does when one suddenly realizes that one should have just stayed in one's bed and pulled one's covers over one's head. Damn, drat, and phooey. Everything I've touched (or even looked at, for that matter) has fallen apart, broken, peed, or otherwise ruined a perfectly lovely Wednesday.
But enough about me. Back to you.
What's new, pussycat?
I must say I am having the same kind of day. Certainly not fun but I can look forward to a night in my chair with my stitching.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's something in the air. I stepped on and broke my glasses beyond repair this morning. That was AFTER I spent an hour and a half at PT rehab'ing my knee. Arg!
ReplyDeleteHang in there....Thursday will soon be here!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry your day is going badly. I have been sitting here looking dismally at my Many Mansions sampler which I began the day after Christmas. The entire border was almost complete and there is a mistake!!! Of course, I can't find it and I frogged for an hour and a half before I gave up in disgust. I'm seriously considering starting over on a new piece of fabric but the linen is luscious. Also, I'm just wondering how Stewie and Butkus would get along...and if Sylvester would consider a visit to my house if that conflict was too severe to resolve. Just thinking.....
ReplyDeleteYes, for those of us not in denial we can totally relate to your day. Some days I do think it would be best to remain in bed and pull the covers over my head.
ReplyDeleteThere will be better days!
Come on over...things are off kilter lately here. I can pour some wine!
ReplyDeleteConi, This is your day for doing what you want!! What happened today! lol Thursday is coming up fast!!
ReplyDeleteUp here in Canada, we call it "hump day" for a reason, Once you get over the hump, you're laughing.
ReplyDeleteYep, I can certainly relate to this. The day started with knocking over a mug of tea.
ReplyDeleteI ask, h-o-w can so little liquid go so f-a-r?
I know from experience this has the potential to be one of t-h-o-s-e days!
I think I and the world will be safer if I stay in the stitchy chair for the rest of the day.
I know exactly what the problem is/was. I thought you said Wednesdays were futzing days. What happened?? You weren't supposed to actually try anything productive today. I must say, methinks it might be your own fault. ;-)

ReplyDeleteDon't fret, it's almost Thursday.
ReplyDeleteI vote for the wine too!

Ugh. I hate days like that. It rained all day here. I hope you didn't have miserable weather to compound your craptastic day.
ReplyDeleteAt least tomorrow is likely to be better, right?
I don`t know why we have these days...I blame hormones. Works for me!!
ReplyDeleteHope today is better..
Kisses to Stewey and Bosco...
That describes my day, most of my days - when I'm at work. At home, so far so good this year: lots of quiet stitching being donw - which makes my days off really nice relaxations. That wasn't the case last year.
ReplyDeleteIf things were this bad on Wednesday, I don't think I'll have the heart to read your Friday the 13th post.
ReplyDeleteI had the same day yesterday. Everything I did was such an effort, even brushing my teeth. It must have been the change in the weather. We are under a winter weather advisory - cold, snow and wind. Winter finally hit in Iowa. No more golf
ReplyDeleteI can't find it & I frogged for an hour & a half before I gave up in disgust.
