WHY SHOULD THEY HAVE ALL THE FUN?

Apparently, this is a new thing that you do for a toddler on their birthday...have all of their favorite toys greet them at their door in the morning with balloons.

Do you suppose this would work with a big ass cup of coffee, a stack of books, and a basket full of stitchy projects for a portly old broken down Spinster of a certain age?

(Asking for a friend).

  2. Yes, but you'd want the coffee to be hot, so would need an alarm set to be able to drink it hot! ☕

  3. I just saw this photo yesterday and absolutely loved it. I agree, a grown up version would be an awesome idea.

  5. Absolutely! Add some chocolate and some ice cream (or maybe ice cream cake) and I'm in!

  6. I was very annoyed when I worked at the Zoo and then sat an Aquarium that only kids could have sleep-overs in front of the manatees and coral reef exhibits. I'd have loved to have done that - and I promise I'd have behaved myself!

  8. I'm seriously concerned about balloons! Perhaps in the middle of a desert they might not be too bad, but I live a stroll away from the South Atlantic Ocean, and we are trying very hard to educate people about the harm caused to fish, seals, dolphins, even whales when they swallow escaped balloons. Yes, they are lovely fun for little kids, but little kids let go the strings and the trouble starts. That toy parade is delightful, of course it is, but if the toys were holding fruit or tasty cookies it would be just as cute and much safer.
