This old lady is off, happy as a clam, to get her aching kidneys pulverized tomorrow to get rid of the current crop of stones. I am so excited! I will be starting a new life again. I guess this means I mostly need to give up my Diet Pepsi, my one source of evil. Alas! But I am tired of getting stones. I don't drink alcohol or coffee or tea. I don't smoke. So my soda is my vice or choice. But, really, it is not worth the pain these stones have caused these last few months! I don't even compare what I have been going through to what you have been dealing with! I have been telling myself almost nonstop that my problems are temporary. Now, all we need to do tomorrow is drive through twenty-five miles through a blizzard to get to the hospital. And I need to fast till the afternoon appointment and hope I don't hurl. Temporary!
