In my heart I've named him Angel, and his is the first name I mention when I ask God to watch over those that have gone before me, and his gift is one of hundreds that I hope to be worthy of by living a good and grateful life.
Thank you, Dearies, for all of your love and support and prayers and encouragement and good wishes, and for a constant reminder that this life of mine is very blessed, indeed.
And thank you, Angel, for giving me a chance to live it to its very fullest.
Lovely post. I'm sure Angel is smiling down from heaven...💕

ReplyDeleteHappy Renewed Life Day! In 2013, my sister had a liver and kidney transplant that saved her from certain death. This is 10 years later and my sister is living a happy and full life like you are. We also pray for blessings for her donor each day as we give thanks to the Lord for another beautiful day for our family. I am so happy to find you doing well! God bless your future!
ReplyDeleteamen...
ReplyDeleteWow! It's already been a year! How grateful we all are that your Angel and his family made the decision to give others the gift of life. The name you chose for him is very fitting.
ReplyDeleteMy 41 year old son died suddenly on 1/122. He was a designated organ donor and we followed his wishes. Today, I know that there are individuals alive and well because of his ultimate gift. While I miss him more than words can express, I am comforted by the knowledge of his gift.
