Does anybody know if there is a stitch guide out there for this canvas? Details, please.
This is a ring from the etsy that has Roman numerals commemorating my transplant date. (Before y'all have a heart attack that I paid thousands...it's just for pretend.)
(But as soon as I win the PowerBall, I'm heading to a jewelry store for the real thing!
Little more progress on the Mill Hill.
Deal of the Century. A $7 clearance shower curtain and voila'...the bathroom gets a makeover! (Scuse the wrinkles.)
Now it's time to get some breakfast and start attacking Mt Laundry that has piled up!
Happy Thursday!
Your nails are pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely ring!
ReplyDeleteConi, Needlepoint too sells that canvas designand offers the stitch guide free with purchase of the threads--don't know if they could be persuaded to just sell the stitch guide--? Here's the link to the listing, don't know if it will work, but if you google the Ray Crawford and the design name, it should come up on search. https://www.needlepointtoo.com/shop/Needlepoint-Canvas/Our-Featured-Designer-Canvases/Raymond-Crawford-Designs/Raymond-Crawford-Designs-Halloween/p/RCHO1646A-PRACTICALLY-PERFECT-IN-EVERY-WAY-by-Ray-Crawford-x32662464.htm
ReplyDeleteConi, STLNeedlepoint did this canvas. There's a picture on their IG page showing threads and says they have a stitch guide with threads. Might be worth a call.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty ring! Nice bathroom, and I love the polka dots. At least the wrinkles will drop out - pity ours don't do that with our own wrinkles. I curse gravity not performing for us when it will pull on everything else!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful way to commemorate such a significant day in your life! May it bring joy to your heart every day!
ReplyDeleteHoney, I've been overlooking the wrinkles for years!

Beautiful ring, love the new shower curtain (polka dots), and good progress on the Winter Trees. Hope Mt. Laundry was easy to tackle! Happy Friday, Coni!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea about new books. Older books I have -

I also recall a series of smaller books at the needlework shop I used to go to (still miss Village Needlework!!!!!) that were smaller, and could easily be put into a project bag and take along. No idea what the name or author was now, but they had comb bindings, soft covers, about 6" square.
here's a bunch of book reviews on Nuts About Needlepoint (not affiliated) -

Sometimes I wish our tub/shower didn't have sliding doors, there's some really cute curtains, like the one you got, that would liven up our bathroom. I debate if adding a curtain over the doors would be too much, so I continue to think on it. Love the ring!
A hair dryer takes most wrinkles out of a vinyl shower curtain. The smallish booklets with needlepoint stitches are from Carole Lake at stitchplay.com. Linda E.
