THOUGHTS?

I might end up adding all of the leaves after all, I think. If I fill in the left and then leave it as is, I fear it's somehow unbalanced and too empty in the middle? Or...perhaps I could add my initials and the year there?

  1. The pumpkins are sooooo elegant! I vote for your initials/date at the bottom. Looked back at the picture with the leaves and they take the eye away from the pumpkins which deserve to be the focus. Glad to see you being a bit perkier!!

  2. I like the idea of using all the leaves. They "ground" the pumpkins and keep them from looking as if they are just floating in mid-air!

  3. Put your personalization info in the middle. That's a great idea!

  6. Lay a comparably sized leaf across the center between and
anchoring the other two pumpkin leaves ... less than original
greenery, buy balancing out the whole.

  7. I'm adding all the leaves to mine and while I'm no where near as far along as you, I think they'll look great. But you have a great idea with name and date. I can't wait to see what you decide!!

  8. Initials and year sound like a good compromise :-)

  9. The piece will be lovely no matter what you do with the leaves. Personally I like the leaves. I think the darker leaves ground the pumpkins and make them seem brighter in contrast.

  10. I vote for initials/year or a short verse or expression like Blessed or Grateful.

  11. Go for the leaves—the bright pumpkin colors need the contrast.
