I managed to do a few things yesterday in between sleeping and chicken noodle soup slurping:
A little bit of planning:
And a few little chores like bed changing and plant tending. I was half awake and fuzzy-headed through most of it, but moving about felt good.
Today I am in the d-chair doing my thing. If you would have told me I would have made all three treatments this week, despite being under the weather, I would have told you that you were sadly mistaken, but alas...I did it.
I think that calls for an extra little something at the Starbucks in my way home...don't you?
Happy weekend, Dearies! I am going to stay inside the cool and quiet, since the forecast is calling for hot and humid again.
What's on your agenda? Come tell me all about it!
"alas...I did it"? I'd think "Hurrah! I did it!" would be more suitable. I hope you enjoy the heck out of the extra something in your Starbucks. My agenda - a supply run and probably more weeding (ungh!).
ReplyDeleteWell done on getting to d-chair every time this week, Coni! And yes, that deserves something extra for sure. On today's agenda -- first the chores then the stitching/reading. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteGo raid Starbucks and enjoy, Coni dear... Have a grand weekend
ReplyDeleteof doing whatever will give you well being and enjoyment...like
staying cool.
Great job powering through your week! I still have fuzz brain from pneumonia and I find myself putting things in strange places. Like who put the cereal in the fridge and the milk in the pantry? Take care Connie!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be a stormy muggy day here (Southern Ontario,Canada) too hot to hook so I will look at my sampler and try and will my arms into picking it up. I've been in a slump of tiredness this week and need some inspiration to get me going so I have been reading your older posts and just loving them!
ReplyDeleteYou write in a way that one can see every word and I find myself laughing many times at your cleverness. Have you ever thought about writing??? I think you should!!
I hope you start to turn the corner and feel better and thank you, for your words, they do reach so many and make a difference in our little lives.
Good for you for making all your treatments this week! And your new start looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeletePats on the back for powering through everything you needed to do. Enjoy the heck out of Starbucks anytime!
