Hello, Dearies!
I am happy to report that I actually survived yesterday quite nicely. After dialysis, I came home and stitched, had a lovely dinner (Cobb salad), and then stitched some more until 2am.
Boy, did that feel good!
Today has dawned bright and perfect, and I am having my damn good before heading down to the pool for some exercise. Groceries have been delivered and put away and I will organize and chop and mix and stir until something suitable pops up.
(I'm thinking grilled shrimp and salad.)
What's on your agenda for the day?
It looks like you start your stitching at the bottom left of the pattern and I have always started at the top. Is there any reason why starting at one place or another works better? Just wondering. Those are very pretty colors!
ReplyDeleteEveryone has their own system. Me, I start in the middle and work my way out. I find it easier to do the necessary counting that way. To each their own.

DeleteYes, I normally do start in the lower left corner. For this piece, though, I did start in the center.
DeleteYay for a good stitching session.....or therapy as I call it :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic! And your replies work too! I have a vivid imagination (sorry!) and at the moment your crown and disc look like eyes and the orangey stitching looks like a quirky mouth! In the last house I had chintz curtains - bathtime was very interesting making out shapes other than big florals! But I digress as usual - that is going to be such a pretty finish - love the trellis in the background with the little flowers. The picture is growing fast!
ReplyDeleteToday the menfolk are bonding by going shopping. I'm manning the fort - who wants to go out in 40+ mph winds?
Have another super day! xxx
Your salads sound wonderful! Hubby has been doing the grocery shopping so salads haven't been on the menu. I need to change that!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had an awesome Thursday, Coni! You have made good progress on your stitch!
ReplyDeleteYou've been on a roll! I'm sure that makes up for the occasional down days. Your stitchery is eye-grabbing.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Glad to hear you had such a fantastic day :)
