NOPE...NOT GONNA DO IT
The big black ughs are still upon me, Dearies, but I simply refuse to give in to them. I just don't know what's wrong with me, but I am decidedly not myself and have not been so for quite a little bit. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but I've had enough of this thankyouverymuch, and am moving on.
I did manage to stitch a bit last evening, but alas, do not have a progress picture for you. I also brought Hoity Toity with me to the d-chair today instead of Plum Pudding, so we'll see if I can make some good progress on it this week.
I hope that your Monday is off to a good start and that the week ahead if full of fun. What 'cha got cookin'?

Hi Coni, I'm sorry that you're out of sorts at present, and I hope that you're back to your old self soon! In the meanwhile, pick up that stitching and enjoy doing what you do best. Take care! Love Hazel x
ReplyDeleteUgh I have to go to work conference and a required ethics class from Tuesday to Friday ... however at the Disneyland Hotel which is always a fun place to at least BE. Gift shop and California Adventure. and buffet meals.
ReplyDeleteRuth in Oxnard CA.
I agree that sometimes the only thing to do is "act as if".....to dump the blackness ugh.
ReplyDeleteMarch on ;-)
Have you had your thyroid checked?
ReplyDeleteHave you had your thyroid checked?
I'm sorry, I hope you are doing better soon. In my experience (for what that's worth) these moods do pass eventually.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Unknown - have you had your thyroid checked lately? You did mention hair loss a while back. I have thyroid probs too and know only too well that sometimes the only sign that the dose is too low is an unrelenting ugh.
ReplyDeleteDepression is also a symptom of low vitamin D . . . I was given a total blood workup recently and, to my total surprise, my vitamin D had TANKED (seriously low). Have had to be given "mega doses" TWICE to try to bounce it up to acceptable levels. I also know that myself and most people I know who are going thru "challenges" are taking anti-depressants. I wouldn't "normally" recommend this, but I've fought through too many difficult times in my life without meds and I now believe meds that help us cope with "challenges" are very useful and helpful. I base my recommendations for full blood work on your depression, hair loss, weepiness, and general FUNK. When these are on-going for several weeks, it's time to check things out so you can get back to your admirable determined attitude. Prayers and love.
ReplyDeleteSorry you are still not feeling like yourself. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh Coni, sorry to hear the ughs are still hanging around! Sending you hugs and good week wishes!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever noticed that ughs and hugs are anagrams? I'm sorry you have the ughs.
ReplyDeleteYesterday I visited Woodlawn Needlework show. Today I need to visit my LNS. I have a shopping list...I think I get to pick up framing today. I might be in the poorhouse after that...
We are both on vitamin D tablets - just too many grey, wet and windy days here. Very depressing, so hron might be on to something there. But, going stir crazy indoors with only a brief dash out when the weather permits to clean out the birds - joy er, not! I think even they are getting cheesed off!
