SUNDAY PLAN

Miss Brandi worked her magic, and after a scalp massage with peppermint oil, I felt like a billion dollars. She always makes me feel so much better about things because she is just the most delightfully sweet person you'll ever meet. I think, too, there's something about a beauty parlor on a Saturday morning that makes you feel extra pampered...everybody coming in for updos and date night makeovers and whatnot. How could you NOT love feeling like a total girl for a few hours?

Speaking of date night...Rich and I went for pizza and salad at a little Italian restaurant in Mishawaka and then wandered into the Diloreto Club after to inquire about membership. (It's an Italian American social club that Rich saw on his way to work one day and wanted to join so he can make some friends here.)  We had a ball, and met some really nice people and learned a little of the history of the families in Mishawaka. Although I'm not much of a social butterfly, Rich is, so he might be able to find some golfing buddies or just have a place where he can go listen to a ballgame and have a cigar every now and then.

Today will be a desk day and a stitching day as soon as I've finished my damn good and the paper. I am starting to itch a bit for a new start, so I might have to go play in the cube room studio this afternoon to see what strikes my fancy. I'm thinking...green.
