Speaking of date night...Rich and I went for pizza and salad at a little Italian restaurant in Mishawaka and then wandered into the Diloreto Club after to inquire about membership. (It's an Italian American social club that Rich saw on his way to work one day and wanted to join so he can make some friends here.) We had a ball, and met some really nice people and learned a little of the history of the families in Mishawaka. Although I'm not much of a social butterfly, Rich is, so he might be able to find some golfing buddies or just have a place where he can go listen to a ballgame and have a cigar every now and then.
Today will be a desk day and a stitching day as soon as I've finished my damn good and the paper. I am starting to itch a bit for a new start, so I might have to go play in the cube room studio this afternoon to see what strikes my fancy. I'm thinking...green.
I hope your very own Sunday is perfectly lovely, Dearies! Come tell me all about your plan for the day and what's blowing your skirt up at the moment!
I'm glad your Saturday was so nice, and today sounds lovely as well! After getting a baked ziti in the oven I hope to have some time to stitch today as well. Hope you find something green that's fun to stitch!
ReplyDeleteA peppermint scalp massage?! Sounds lovely!
ReplyDeleteHow did your new haircut turn out? Feeling snazzy?
ReplyDeleteHope you got your desk tasks accomplished and spent time stitching! We had a wintery mix here so it was nice to stay in and stitch/read while doing the laundry.
ReplyDeleteA minty stitcher! Sounds like you had a perfect relaxing session. Here we really did have a wind blowing our skirts up! One of those "storm" days. Definitely an inside sewing session. Glad you had a fun date night too.
ReplyDeleteYeah! For both your wonderful day and for showing up in my bloglovin feed! Have a great Monday (which is the day you showed up.)
ReplyDeleteSo do we get to see the new DO ?
