This is the Ink Circles piece I was telling you about. I had a very small start on it last year, but made great progress when I picked it up again yesterday.
I'm stitching this on 28ct Fog by Picture This Plus using two strands of Weeks Dye Werks Julian. I was a little unsure about it initially, but now really like it. There is a vibrant orchid color in the thread that isn't captured here, unfortunately.
Off to dialysis I go. I am dragging my feet today and would much rather stay at home and repeat yesterday, but Instead I need to rally my courage and common sense and get to it.

Hello Coni! I've been reading for awhile but don't think I've commented yet. Anyway, that color is beautiful! I'm a stitcher as well and now I need to find something to stitch with that. I'm currently working on an old Blackbird Loose Feathers called "Spring Fling" and it's so much fun to stitch with bright colors after all the Christmas and winter colors. I saw that you did a Prairie Moon not long ago and I wondered if you might be interested in some charts I have from a Halloween series she did about 10yrs ago? They are ghosts and such to be finished into ornaments or stand-up. ReplyDeleteI remember both that fabric and that thread from when I owned my brick-and-mortar shop. I loved both! What a great design to use them for. You're doing lovely work. I have to admit, I've never done one of Tracy's big pieces. But I love them! I think I have one or two in my stash, just in case.
