It's 8:15 on a Sunday morning, and rather than the paper and some damn good and some stitching to look forward to, I am up and showered and dressed and ready for dialysis. Sunday, Tuesday, Friday this week due to Thanksgiving. I just need to keep chanting that to myself so I show up on the right days!
I'm rocking the pink today...figured it would be soft and cozy. I have leggings and really old sherpa sweatshirts that I made into dialysis uniforms, and the pink seems to be a favorite among my pod mates.
Cold and snowy here this morning, so I'm going to head out a bit early and take my time. I just wanted to pop in and say a hale and hearty hello and wish you a happy and peaceful Sunday, Dearies!
Hope your treatment goes smoothly today! I am trying to do laundry with a washing machine that isn't working properly. Not going well. Thankfully it is still under warranty so it will hopefully be fixed next week. Fingers crossed :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the explanation of the rare Sunday dialysis. Have fun (?) and stay cozy.

Thinking of you as you hit the chair today, Coni! Your fuzzy socks look very cozy. Have a blessed day with a smooth treatment!
ReplyDeleteYour perseverance and gumption in the face of your challenges has me frequently telling myself to 'Suck it up, Buttercup, and get the job done.' Please know that I frequently name you in my prayers. Today the sun is shining, and the snow and ice are melting. You just gave me the kick I needed to get today's tasks finished! I hope today's pod time is uneventful and that you have lots of happy adventures to share with us tomorrow!
